About VidMate Old Version
Our vidmate old version download archive is an independent website created to make older VidMate APK builds easier to identify and understand.
Why this archive exists
People often look for an older app using a short version name, but the file itself can have a longer version string and a separate build code. Android requirements, file size and supported CPU libraries can also differ between nearby releases. We document these details so you can compare archived builds under our Terms and Conditions before choosing a file.
What we publish
Our version pages focus on details that help identify a particular APK:
- Version name, internal build code and package name.
- Minimum Android requirement, file size and native-library information when available.
- SHA-256 values for files we have inspected, where that check is documented.
- Historical archive notes that can be supported by the available records.
We also explain installation and build selection where those steps help readers make sense of the file list.
How we check file details
Where a file is available to the project, we inspect its APK metadata rather than relying on its filename alone. A filename can change without changing the app inside it; the package, version name and build code offer stronger evidence of which build it is.
A file hash identifies a particular set of bytes, not whether the app is safe or will work on your device. When evidence is missing or a hosted file has not been compared byte-for-byte with an inspected copy, our version pages should say so.
Reading historical information
Older software records are not always consistent. An archive listing date is not automatically an official release date, and an old feature description does not prove that the feature or its online service still works today. We keep those distinctions visible when the records do not settle them.
