Privacy Policy
This policy explains the information that may be processed when you browse VidMate Old Version or contact us.
Information you choose to send
When you use our contact form or email us, you may provide your name, email address, subject, message and anything else you include. We use that information to read and respond to your inquiry, review corrections, or handle privacy and copyright requests.
The current contact form uses Contact Form 7 to send messages to our contact email. We have not configured a separate form-submission database on this site. Messages can still remain in the receiving mailbox and in email systems involved in delivery; we do not claim that email disappears after it is sent.
Technical information and site operation
The hosting and email systems needed to run this website may process technical information such as your IP address, browser or user-agent, requested URL, request time and response or error details. We do not have a verified fixed retention period for hosting logs.
The site’s SEO tools may also record requests for missing pages so we can identify broken links. At the last review, Rank Math’s simple 404 monitor had logged missing-page requests; this is a diagnostic function, not an advertising profile.
Cookies and tracking
WordPress uses cookies for administrator login and related site functions. A visitor may encounter technical cookies depending on the feature they use and browser settings. We did not observe a cookie being set by the public homepage in an unauthenticated check.
At the time of this review, we did not identify a separately configured advertising or behavioral-tracking system, Google Analytics, or Google Tag Manager on the public site. We also did not identify a cookie-consent plugin. These findings describe the current setup; the policy will need updating if the technology changes.
How information is used
- To reply to messages and review website corrections.
- To diagnose technical errors and maintain the website.
- To review copyright or privacy requests.
- To meet applicable legal obligations where required.
We do not sell personal information to advertisers. Information may be processed by the hosting and email services needed to operate the site, or disclosed where law or the protection of legal rights reasonably requires it.
External links and downloads
Some download links lead to GitHub-hosted files, and the site may link to other third-party websites. Those services have their own privacy practices governed under their own policies and our Terms and Conditions. This policy covers VidMate Old Version, not what an external website does after you leave this site.
Retention and your choices
We keep contact information only as long as reasonably necessary to handle the inquiry, administrative records, disputes or applicable legal requirements. We do not state a fixed period for email or host logs because one has not been verified.
You can ask us about information you submitted, request a correction or deletion where appropriate, or raise another privacy concern by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may provide additional rights.
Children’s privacy
This website is intended for a general audience and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through the contact form, contact us so the matter can be reviewed.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the website, its tools or applicable requirements change. The date above should change when we make a material update. Privacy questions can also be sent directly to [email protected].
